About Us: We are trying to fulfill a long time dream of my wife Carolyn: to open our
PuppyGarden pet store. We have been involved in the puppy business for a long
time and think we will give people a chance to get a healthy puppy that will be fresh
off the farm and will not have gone through much stress before they get to their new
homes. We are going to get some of our puppies from breeders, who we think have
the best kennels in our area, that is S.E. Kansas. We will hand pick all of our
puppies we purchase so we will have nice puppies as well as sell pups that we
have raised ourselves. We have quit breeding dogs recently so when we run out of
the pups we raised soon then there will be no more raised by us. We have opened
Puppygarden.com; Pet store in a Shopping Center at 614 Aberdeen Rd. in
Hampton, Va. 23661. That is right off I-664 going North on Aberdeen Rd. We are
trying to have all our pups on line for people to look at but this is not always possible
so call me to see if I can help you get that special puppy you are looking for. My cell #
is 620-687-2881. My wife has raised dogs for over twenty years, she has shown
Frenchies and has been to a lot of dog shows so she knows what to look for when
we are getting pups for the store. We will also have our vet check all the puppies
before we bring them to the store. My mother started raising puppies in 1969. When I
was 15 years old, I helped her build her first kennel. My wife, Carolyn, my son Jessy
and I have been raising puppies professionally from 1999 until Oct. 17th, 2009,
when we sold out our kennel operation.
We opened the store in July, 08, so we have had the store opened for more than a
year now. It seams there is always some thing to do at our little pet store. Now that
we have quit breeding dogs my wife and I will be going from our place in Kansas
where we will get and background the puppies to Hampton where we will find them
loving homes and provide a good place to groom your new puppy as well as your
other furry friends. This may have been a difficult time to start a new business and
with money as tight as it is we are hoping people shop around and find us and see
that are puppies are healthy and are very good quality even at our low prices. I want
you to know that we want your business. We also don't want to have puppies that are
over 4 or 5 months old in our store. So don't be shy about talking about our prices on
these older pups, I want to be competitive and get these babies there new parents
before they get to old. Our store is all about the puppies, and the feed, toys and
supplies are what we use for our dogs and puppies. We try to get toys, clothes, and
beds and things that will hold together with playful tough little puppies using them.
We have a lot of cute clothes and accessories. We have also installed a grooming
facility for your puppy and any one looking for reasonable grooming. My wife grooms
very well and will be grooming here by Christmas. She has to stay in Kansas until
we can get the last of our pups to the store. We also do something most store don't
do, and that is we are potty tray training our puppies when we let them out to play and
exercise. So most are potty trained if they stay in the store a week or two. That is just
a few things I thought potential customers would want to know about our store.
